Dr. Wong would rather see you competing by his side in the Honolulu Tinman Triathlon, the New York City Marathon, or the Waikiki Roughwater Swim than laid up in bed, so his goal is to keep patients up and about.  With his extensive surgical expertise and experience with benign and malignant diseases of the colon and rectum, especially low-lying rectal cancers and benign anorectal conditions (hemorrhoids, fistulas, prolapse), he is well-equipped to do exactly that.  Dr. Wong has taught at the University of Hawaii – John A. Burns School of Medicine, and served on the Queen’s Medical Executive Committee and Queen’s Physician Group Board of Directors.  For several years, he has been recognized in “Best Doctors in Hawaii” for his expertise in colon and rectal surgery.
